I would love to get an emotionally supportive puppy, but I’m not sure that’s even possible. After all, how much they are trained and they are mostly adults. Can you help me find the answer to this question?

If an owner has an ESA letter from a licensed professional, they can designate any animal as an ESA, such as their family puppy or dog. Any dog can be an emotional support animal if it can support the owner in overcoming any mental health issues. You can find out about registering a puppy at https://myserviceanimal.org/products/emotional-support-animal/ and do whatever you need to do.

It seems to me that any animal of any age can serve as your emotional support. It's all up to you and what you want. If it will give you what you want, why not?
