Overview

For a water resource engineer, there is always a need to use software modelling to know the rainfall–runoff processes of hydrology. This is due to the limitations of existing hydrological measurement techniques. It is not possible to measure everything we would like to know about hydrological systems. We have, in fact, only a limited range of measurement techniques and a limited range of measurements in space and time

Objective

"The Training has following objectives: i. Introduction to QGIS and its application to extract necessary physiographic parameters of a basin generally used in Hydrological Modelling. ii. Introduction to Hec-HMS software and its application in Hydrological modelling for a basin"
