Overview
The webinar programme provides overview on hydrological drought and its products generated under National Hydrology Project by NRSC. The technical details such as input data used and methodology will be presented. The geospatial data based hydrological drought indices such as Standardized Runoff Index (SRI), Standardized Groundwater Index (SGWI), Standardized Reservoir Storage Index (SRSI), and Standardized Water Spread Index (SWSI) along with a composite hydrological drought index will be presented. The usefulness of the above indicators for hydrological drought characterization and its limitations will be presented. A brief online demo of above products hosted on Bhuvan-NHP Geo portal and interactive feedback sessions are also planned for this webinar
