On Completion of the Course, Officer Trainees shall be able to
Realise the importance and scope of Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) in India.
Understand the factors controlling RWH.
Recognise different techniques of RWH
Estimate runoff components in RWH
Select best possible sites for RWH
Design RWH structures including Filters
Prepare DPR and do cost estimation for RWH
Maintain RWH structures post-construction
Apply water quality standards in RWH
Experience in the field as to how it happens
