Objective

On Completion of the Course, Officer Trainees shall be able to  Realise the importance and scope of Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) in India.  Understand the factors controlling RWH.  Recognise different techniques of RWH  Estimate runoff components in RWH  Select best possible sites for RWH  Design RWH structures including Filters  Prepare DPR and do cost estimation for RWH  Maintain RWH structures post-construction  Apply water quality standards in RWH  Experience in the field as to how it happens
