Role of SCADA based Automation in NHP

In addition to real-time data acquisition systems, some of the barrages/reservoirs, canals, and groundwater system operations will be equipped with the SCADA based remote-control system. This will allow for Centralized remote control and operation from a control room as well as allow for system response on a real-time basis which enhances the system efficiency, reduces the downtime by diagnostic analysis and saving on account of energy consumption and maintenance is achieved.
