Objective
Course Contents
The course will consist of lectures on Role of Hydrology in Urban Flood Management. The lectures will be supported by tutorials and hands-on training. The faculty will comprise of scientists from NIH and experts from other reputed academic organizations. The course mainly comprises the following topics: Overview role of urban flood management, Application of remote sensing and GIS, Rainfall analysis and Runoff estimation in urban catchment, Overview of EPASWM software for urban storm water modelling and case studies, Urban flood mitigation measures and Hands on Practice of EPASWMM software
