Overview

Google Earth Engine (GEE) is a cloud-based platform for planetary scale analysis which is useful for translating geospatial datasets into meaningful analytics and decisions. It combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and other geospatial datasets to detect changes, map trends and quantify differences on the Earth''''''''s surface. T-he beauty of the platform lies in the fact that it is free for non-commercial use and there is no additional software license that is required. All you need to get started is a browser with good internet connection. GEE leverages Google''''''''s extensive cloud infrastructure (computational resources collocated with geospatial datasets) to present
