Overview
The training programme provides overview on principles of Remote Sensing, RS Sensors and systems; introduction of image processing and classification techniques and its application in water resources management. The topics covered include GIS, open source GIS with practical exercises, hydrological modelling, Runoff Estimation Methods, Flow Routing Methods with hand-on exercises. Open Source Data & Software for Water Resources and water resources information portals will also be covered.
