Overview

Water budgeting is a management tool for optimal use of water resources at basin/sub-basin level or even at the level of any administrative region. It takes into account inflows (precipitation, stream and sub surface inflows), change in storage (surface and groundwater, soil moisture) and Outflows ( surface and subsurface) from the system.

Objective
